Admission Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited university (or foreign equivalent)
• Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 for all courses or 3.0 for the most recent 60 credits towards the applicant's undergraduate degree.
• GMAT and GRE not required but may be considered for applicants with GPAs that do not meet the requirement.
• TOEFL, taken with in the past 12 months, for applicants for whom English is not their native language and for applicants whose undergraduate degree was conducted in a language other than English.

Learning Environment for Students:
Upper Iowa University delivers its online courses in an asynchronous environment using a client-server architecture (the client is Outlook Express, which comes free with Internet Explorer). Students can also access class using a web browser. The system is designed to be fully functional without the use of highbandwidth Internet access. A 24/7/365 helpdesk is available to assist students having technical difficulties. The average class size is approximately 9 students, with a target maximum class size of 13 students. Course are discussion intensive and students are expected to participate actively in the class discussions.
