Admission Requirements
Applicants to the online MBA programs at Utica College must have a bachelor’s degree and a 3.0 GPA for undergraduate coursework (a GMAT score is required for those with a lower GPA). Along with your application, please submit:
- Two letters of recommendation
- A personal statement
- A copy of your résumé
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended
Tuition
Tuition for Utica’s online MBA’s are $855 per credit. The program is comprised of 30 to 42 credits, depending on your academic background and work experience.
Description of Learning Environment for Students
Utica College’s online MBA programs utilize the user-friendly Angel platform. The contemporary curriculums emphasize the application of theory to real-world situations through readings, projects, case studies, and discussions.
Our seasoned and forward-thinking professors continually update and adapt their courses to meet the newest challenges in the business environment. Their goal is to provide students with strategies and concepts they can integrate with their knowledge and experience, and apply to challenges they face in current and future work environments. Faculty members make a point of interacting with students and encouraging discussion among classmates, and are available for support when needed.
In addition, the online MBA in Economic Crime and Fraud Management prepares students to take the CFE exam presented by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the premier certification for anti-fraud professionals. This cutting-edge program has two, three-day residencies at the Utica College campus where students meet with faculty and fellow students. This invaluable opportunity teaches students about available technology and course expectations, as well as taking part in projects and economic crime simulations. Students will also have the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art forensics research lab the resides on Utica College’s campus.
Students in the MBA in Professional Accountancy are prepared to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.
