Faculty
The Economist has ranked our faculty #3 in the world for quality. Our professors are exceptional teachers and researchers who received their doctoral training at some of the most prestigious schools in the country, including: Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Chicago, The Wharton School, Rice University, Cornell University and Northwestern University.
Through their research, our faculty are generating the most innovative and rigorous new knowledge found anywhere in the world. They also are deeply involved in the business world through consulting assignments and hands-on research, staying on the cutting-edge of management practices of leading corporations, non-profits and public agencies. They know how academic theory relates to real-world conditions, and they are dedicated to sharing that practical dimension with you. This means that you, as a UC Davis MBA student, would have access to innovative ideas, concepts and practices before they hit the mainstream.
Over the past few years we have hired 6 new professors, all of who are experts in their fields and who all happen to be women. In fact, the UC Davis Graduate School of Management has the highest percentage of professors who are women, 45%. This is reflective of our ongoing commitment to diversity of ideas and people.
