Military Scholarships
Checklist of Requirements

The following information will provide you with a more complete list of details prior to applying for Military MBA's Merit Scholarship awards.

Eligibility
Any US resident with an undergraduate/bachelor's degree who has experience in the military can apply. You must be a registered user (it's free) of this site and logged in before applying for any scholarships. Scholarship award money must be used toward graduate business degree education with member schools. We recommend that you review our list of member schools and the degree programs they offer before you apply. Our scholarships cannot be used in conjunction with any other full scholarship awards. Applicants must be prospective MBA students who are not actively matriculating in, or graduated from, an MBA degree program.

Deadlines
The deadline for scholarship applications is January 15, 2011 with awards given February 15, 2011. Any applicant not chosen for a previous scholarship will automatically qualify for our other merit scholarships awarded later in the year.

Application Process
To be considered for Military MBA's Merit Scholarships, your application packet (which includes the online application form and all supporting mailed-in documentation outlined below) must be complete.

Online Application Form
To qualify for all of our scholarships, the online portion of your application packet must be completed. We do not store information submitted by a candidate's online application in our database. In preparation of filling out the form, we recommend you review the application in full and know your GPA, test scores and replies to essay questions in advance.

Mail In Supporting Documentation

All supporting material for your application packet must be mailed to:
  • Military MBA Merit Scholarships
    P.O. Box 681234
    Park City, Utah 84068-1234
To qualify for all of our scholarships, the portion of the application packet you mail in to us requires the following information.
  • Official Grade Transcripts. You must request official grade transcripts and have the school you graduated from send us (at the mailing address listed above) a hard copy of your official transcripts in a properly sealed, stamped and well-identified envelope.
  • Two Letters of Recommendation. One from a recent supervising officer, the other from a recent member of the military who was under the applicant's leadership/command. (Please consider applicant's strengths, how she/he compares to others in a similar position and relevant comments about aptitude for advanced study. Also, an applicant's leadership profile from both a team and professional perspective will be duly noted.)
Once again, to be considered for award money you must complete both the online application form and mail in all supporting documentation.
