Washington, DC, October 5, 2005 - The Military MBA network today announced its new Corporate Connection program that brings military officers with MBA degrees and corporations together for successful career placement and leadership transition.
The program stems from a recent poll by Military MBA, which identified several career needs of officers that were not being met. Approximately 68 percent of military officers with MBA degrees felt there werenít enough career resources available to help them identify and connect with organizations looking for their skills and leadership experience. Demand for career services was further underscored by the number of officers - 100 percent - who indicated regular, updated access to a jobs board of available management positions was very important to their job search.
Military MBAís Corporate Connection program was also established to help transition leadership within organizations caused by the wave of boomer retirements, which will hit to mid-to-upper-level ranks of management the hardest. As the only network exclusive to the military officer community, Military MBA services an average of 69,000 officers each month. This places the network in a unique position to connect organizations with job candidates who possess the education and proven leadership skills companies are looking for. Military MBA is also able to link companies with qualified leadership candidates without corporations paying costly, recurring recruitment fees.
