Taking the GMAT®
Relax. Taking
the Graduate Management Admission
Test® (GMAT® exam)
should neither intimidate
nor overwhelm you. Officers
from all over the world and
from all different backgrounds
have taken the test successfully,
and you can, too.
Overview The GMAT® test is a standardized assessment — delivered in English and computerized — that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The GMAT® exam measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that you have developed. Your Connection to Top MBA Schools The MBA schools most recognized by employers use the GMAT® test as one predictor of academic performance in an MBA or in other graduate management programs. Admissions officers use GMAT® scores as one of several sources of information about an applicant. Other sources include a student's undergraduate record, and information obtained from applications, interviews, and letters of recommendation. Contact the schools you are interested in directly to understand how each school uses and interprets scores.
